Hi friends!  Thanks for all of the sweet messages!  I have the greatest blog friends in the world!  I'm taking the 2nd nutrition class at Cornell and just started Paralegal classes at UNC last week.  The paralegal program is more demanding than I anticipated.  Needless to say I'm looking forward to graduation day, June 9th!

You're probably wondering how weight loss and working out is going?  It's not.  My weight is about the same give or take a pound or two.  At least I haven't gained, right?  I think I only worked out once last week.  My diet is abysmal.  I'm definitely getting back on track in the morning with nutrition and working out! BODYPUMP & SH'BAM here I come!  It definitely takes vigorous effort for me to not to fall away from a healthy lifestyle.  I understand from people who have been living healthfully for years that it becomes second nature, but for me it requires discipline, effort and pursuit.  I also realized I have to keep this blog going to stay on track.

I've been listening to Reshaping It All by Candace Cameron Bure (downloaded from iTunes), and it's made all of the difference in motivating me to get back on track.  This quote from the book recently "spoke" to me:
"Action means I'll have an active role in my life.  I won't sit around waiting for things to change but will take the necessary steps to make it happen.  Things that are important deserve nothing less than vigorous pursuit."

  1. Nice to hear from you-and I'm so glad you're enjoying school. It is demanding isn't it, but you can do it.
    It helps me (a lot) to blog regularly, keeps me more accountable. Though I've been up and down the same few lbs for weeks :)

    I know you are so busy but Just try to remember how great you feel when you eat healthy. You can do it :-)

  4. Hey Cat, I have to say I love love the after picture....you look hot girl. I think for most of us it takes effort to eat a healthy lifestyle all of the time or at least the ones who have suffered a weight problem most of our lives. Happy week to you!

  6. Hi, Cat, it's good to hear from you again. It sounds like you're keeping yourself really busy. What helps me to stay on track is checking in with all of you on a regular basis and my WW meetings, and always reminding myself that eating crap will make me feel like crap, and I don't want to feel like crap!
