Challenge Day 2, Feelings Pass

Just wanted to do a quick update before heading off to bed.  I met my challenge goals today, even though I have a nasty cold and I worked today and have other stresses in my life.  I am passionate about finishing this challenge strong and empowered.  I'll do what it takes.  I was struggling last night with emotional eating, not giving in but struggling with stress and the feelings of wanting to run to food for comfort.  A friend said, "don't eat. Feelings pass."  I thought yeah, so true.  It helped. It worked!

Doesn't it feel great to flex that discipline muscle and feel it getting stronger and stronger!  I love Hebrews 12:11!

Well onward and upward!

Have a safe, fun, and healthy weekend.

Take care,

  1. Hi Cat, The one thing I have learned on the BFC is to not emotional eat. I feel so free not to do that anymore.
    Have a great day :-)

  2. I love that saying, "Feelings Pass". I think I'll borrow it and add to it that calories don't pass! LOL! I hope you got a good night's rest and are feeling better!

  3. I agree - when you use that 'muscle' it gets stronger and stronger, and that feels so good!

  5. Did you know "stressed spelled backwards is dessert"?
Good job on making it through day 2. Now keep after it. You look amazing and you want to stay that way.
I also found a cute saying that said,
    Dear Stress,
    Let's break up! OK?

  6. Kay - that is SO interesting!

I am really struggling with allergies that seem like a cold. At first I was hungry with it, and now Im not interested in food for a few days. I hope we both feel better soon :)
